We chose the name Brodie for our son pretty much as soon as we heard it. Found it on a list of names that were currently popular in Scotland. He is totally a Brodie! I mean he’s only a toddler, but he’s a jolly little chap.
We’re having a baby girl now and I’m stumped. There’s just no one name that I love, and a lot of the ones I like are too popular - I don’t want to pick a top-100 name and doom my child to a lifetime of being identified by their last initial. (Any other kids of the 80s out there? Remember how there was a Jessica B, Jessica J, Jessica M, Jessica ad nauseam?)Here are the ones I like so far. Any advice or perspective is appreciated.
Side note. We thought about sticking with the Scots theme and found the name Rhona to be lovely. And then we realized... Coronavirus has totally ruined it for us.
